Dr. Hakan Lucius

Head of Corporate Responsibility at the EIB, the European Union’s bank, covering sustainability and stakeholder engagement. With more than 20 years of sustainability experience, I have structured multiple billions of euros of investments, through both loans and equity, and was quoted by the Financial Times and by Reuters.

Professor of Finance in parallel to my professional career at the EIB, I specialise in sustainable finance. I have also developed a Masters class in sustainable finance, which I teach at SciencesPo (France), the Frankfurt School of Finance (Germany) and the Welch College of Business (Luxembourg).

I have lectured in Europe and the US as an international speaker, having presented in conferences in over 18 countries globally. Awarded Best Lecturer, Master of Development Finance, by Frankfurt School and by the by Welch MBA in Luxembourg and I have published articles in multiple languages.
