Stefanos Komninos is an MSc Economist / Market Analyst: his career has been shared between private and public sectors, industry, and commerce. He has been producing business solutions since 2003 as co-founder and executive partner of Netrino (2019 -), iMinder CY (2018 -), and Exceed Consulting (2003 – 2019), in Greece, Cyprus, Romania and Albania.
Supports micro, small and medium-sized businesses as a Management Consultant at the Athens Chamber of Crafts (2015 -). the Trikala Chamber of Industries & Commerce (2021 -) and the Athens Chamber of Tradesmen (2015 – 2018). Beside the mentoring and consulting services, he designed and implemented major projects such as Early Warning Europe and Sustainability / CSR initiatives for crafts.
For five years (2009 – 2014), as Secretary General of Commerce of the Greek Ministry of Development, he accomplished savings of 1 billion euros a year in pharmaceutical spending, the Price Observatory, Business Registry / GEMI, E-Procurement, the Fuel inflow / outflow system, Competition and Trademark law, the new company form IKE, Made in Greece Origin Label, Integrated Surveillance for counterfeit products, SYKAP etc.
He has worked with numerous companies in effectively diagnosing internal and external business environments to develop integrated Business Plans, restructuring them, upgrading Reengineering, designing tools, marketing structures and management. He has trained hundreds of business executives in persuasive sales and negotiation techniques, Key Accounts Handling, sales team management, purchasing behavior analysis, retail store management, etc. He has designed and developed innovative research methods for Trade Opinion, (Mirror), Market Census, (Compass, KIOSK) as well as holistic analysis of Loyalty Card & Shoppers data.
He has worked for the management of the I. & S. Sklavenitis supermarket chain and was a member of the Board of the Greek Export Promotion Organization.
Postgraduate studies at JFK Government School at Harvard University and at Birkbeck College, University of London, graduate of the Department of Economics of the Athens University of Economics and Business.
