Mr. George Kavathas

George Kavathas has a long experience (more than 25 years) at the Downstream section of Oil & Gas Industry, in various management roles in Hellenic Petroleum. In the period 1992 – 1997 he acted as chemical engineer at many positions (production units, oil movement, process studies) in Elefsis Refinery. For a long time (23 years) he involved with Safety and Environment section establishing the HSE policies and procedures of Hellenic Petroleum in Elefsis Refinery with sustainable improvement in the safety performance and culture of the Industrial Complex. Currently, he joins the Helpe Group Coordinating Committee for the pandemic handling. With this way he participates in the preparation of relative Policies, Procedures, and Announcement.
