In June 1984 he graduated from the Zanneio Model Experimental High School of Piraeus.

In June 1991 he graduated from the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

On June 20, 1994 he started working in Milos at the Company of Argyrometallimata and Barite SA, later renamed to S&B Industrial Minerals SA and today called IMERYS GREECE SA, as a Mine Rehabilitation Manager.

Establishment of a Nursery in Milos, for the reproduction of native plants to be used in the Company’s Mine Restoration activities.
Research and breeding of native plants resistant to drought, high salinity and grazing.
New approach to planting, which is now carried out without the use of any watering system.
Research and breeding of rare and endemic plants of Milos.
Research for inoculation with the appropriate Nitrobacteria of all the native species of leguminous plants of Milos,which are reproduced in the Nursery of Milos.
Research for the inoculation with the appropriate Mycorrhizas of all native plants reproduced in the Nursery of Milos.
